The Resurrection mentioned in the Bible seems to have a few different interpretations from right before the Tribulation, Pre Trib, middle ways of the Tribulation, Mid Trib, Slightly past the middle, Pre Wrath, and after the Tribulation period, Post Trib, there is also the one where it will not occur till after the 1,000 year reign of Christ right before the Judgement, not sure what it’s called.

All have supporting Scripture, but that is something I have found, if you read with a preconceived belief it is easy to find Scripture to support that belief. I will not get into that here but at a later time.

Regardless of which one you believe, when you try to inform others of a time coming (Tribulation Period) that the world and the people in it, will be judged and have years of suffering when the Anti Christ will be ruling, you will get the same response from those that are lost and even some that profess to believe but really won’t study the Scriptures. “I have heard that all my life.” Yes they have, we, our parents, our grandparents as well as many generations have.

It causes me to think of a few other places in the Bible where people were told for many years something that God was going to do long before He did it, but He did ultimately as He promised/threatened.

Example #1- Chapters 1-39 of Isaiah contain numerous warnings of consequences of their sinning against God.

Out of concern for His chosen people, God sent a series of prophets to warn them that unless they changed their ways they would reap severe penalties, including disastrous defeats and foreign captivity. God’s prophets were instructed to: “Cry aloud… tell My people their transgressions, and the house of Israel their sins” (Isaiah 58:1)

But the people didn’t believe.

Example #2- “Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the Earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her children.” (Note:(Isaiah 66:8) This prophecy written thousand’s of years before the actual event BUT was fulfilled in one day on May 14, 1948)

Example #3- (Gen 6:7-22) He said He would bring floodwaters to cover the earth, this was 100 years before He actually did it (Gen. 7:11). Can you imagine all the people laughing at Noah as he explained why he was building the giant boat in the middle of the desert? I can!

There are hundreds of other examples but we have learned that God does things in His timing but He always does what He says He will do!
