On June 2, 2012, I wrote about the end time, What Happens in The End?, where I refer to things that will happen after Armageddon before the New Heaven and new earth. This time I would like for us to look at the New Creation- based on God’s Word.

Let me ask before you decide to ignore what we will be looking into- give it a fair examination. We can’t learn if we aren’t willing to examine God’s Word as to what is does say- not what we desire it to say.

Rev. 21: 1-2, Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the new Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepaired as a bride beautifuly dressed for her husband.

Rev. 21: 3, And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of God is with men and He will live with them and be their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.

Now we are just looking at this new Heaven and new Earth. But did want to point out because it is such wonderful news- God says He will dwell with His people. We will look into this later on, God willing.

Now this isn’t nearly the first time this even is recorded in God’s Word, another place:

Isaiah 65: 17-19, “See I will create New heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoyce forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and it’s people to be a joy. I will rejoyce over Jerusalem and take delight in my people;

As you can see Isaiah has more information than we see in Revelation. But now we will look deeper:

Isaiah 65: 20-25, The sound of weeping and crying will be heard no more. Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man that does not live out his years; The one who dies at a hundred will be thought of as a mere child; The one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed. They will build houses and dwell in the; The will plant vinyards and eat their fruit. No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat. For as the days of a tree, so will be the days of my people; My chosen ones will long enjoy the work of their hands. They will not labor in vain, nor will they bear children doomed to missfortune; For they will be a people blessed by the Lord, they and their decendents with them. Before they call I will answer; While they are still speaking I will hear. The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox and dust will be the serpent’s food. They will neither harm nor destroy on my hold mountain,” says the Lord.

Now we read New Heaven and New Earth so much till sometmes we don’t REALLY read it. Both Isaiah and Revelation are speaking of a NEW creation with a new heaven and a new earth. But there is a differance in Rev. 21: 3 and Isaiah 65: 20-25.

Always remember the Bible never contradicts it’s self- it is always in our understanding. I have read this many and wondeed before, reading about the end of old things and begining of the new. In so doing pondered this part.

Rev. 20: 7-8, When the thousand years were over, satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth-Gog and Magog- and to gather them for battle. In number they will be like sand on the seashore.

Rev. 20: 9-11, They march across the bereath of the earth and surround the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

First we see where satan and his followers attack God’s people and here they lose by fire from above. then satan is thrown in the lake of fire.

So what des it “not” say? It makes no referance to what happens to all the other people on earth- this was distruction of those attacking the city “only.” So what about the rest of the people in the world- including those “in” the city?

I have heard many ideas/opinions, that could not support them through Scripture- but just “make me feel good ideas!”

Now why would there be a new earth if there wasn’t going to be people to live in/on it? Those of us with new bodies don’t need a earth, we could live in Heaven- Jesus has one and He does.

Of course there is the argument that people in their flesh bodies can’t be in Heaven- but this ain’t Heaven this is earth, yes a new one but still earth. See there will not be sin because just as Adam and Eve didn’t sin till there was temptation from “satan” (he is in a lake of fire) came along.

Think about it, regular humans living sinless lives, just like in the begining as God desired it, and created it.

Remember Isaiah says the people will bear children? Jesus said:

Matt. 22: 30, At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.

See there has to be people living on the new earth not us in heavenly bodies that don’t reproduce.
