Yes it definitely is a sin, but not any worse than any other sin except sexual sin is done against your body, Also we can have sex with someone outside of marriage even with a person that is married to another and look down on the homo!

1st. Cor. 6:18, Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside the body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.

Many of us Christians get all in a tizzy when the word homosexually is mentioned yet we can watch a “good” gangster movie with people being killed and enjoy it, sometimes, with gusto. In my last post I mentioned a “little” sin we think is ok. Why is it we have a tendency to look one sin being “little” and another being “Big?”

Maybe because “we” are the one committing the “little” sin and it is someone else committing the “Big” sin? There is one difference, the lost person committing a sin versus a Christian committing a sin! Why do I say that? Because when the lost person sins he/she is doing exactly what they are supposed to do!

Their god is satan, and what did Jesus say about him and those that are his?

Excerpt from: Luke 10:18, the weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil,
” ” John 12:31, “Now is the judgment of this world, now shall the ruler of this world be cast out,

John 8:43&44, “Why do you understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear My word. You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When her lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”

Just to show a few statements from Jesus concerning satan and those that follow him! So when the lost lie, commit adultery, murder, rape, curse, speed, not wear seat belts, abuse children, rob, lust and the list goes on and on and on, it is their nature to do these. So their need is NOT to stop committing a sin, it is to have Jesus as their own Lord and Savior!!!

However when we sin it is different because it is NOT our nature- we can’t blame it on ignorance because we have been “bought” with the blood of the One and only Son of God Most High! We understand what it was to be that sinner and we understand what it is to “belong” to Jesus. We cannot ignore “our” sin anymore!

Where did anyone get the idea there are “little” sins and “big” sins? Oh, no Christian would ever say there are, but we live as though there are. Don’t we? 🙂 Of course we do, almost every day we judge others by their sins as we ignore our own. That, in my opinion, was what Jesus was referring to when He said:

Matt. 7: 1-5, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way as you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Why is it a plank in our eye and a speck in our brother’s eye, when sin is sin? Maybe because of what else He said:

Matt. 6: 14-15, For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

You may say what has this to do with sins people commit, since these are sins against me? Because these statements fall on the heels of:

Matt. 6: 12-13, forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those that sin against us And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’

We have a tendency to take v-14 & 15 back to v-12 ignoring v-13. Isn’t it a true, when someone sins the “big” sin we have a feeling it is our duty to point it out? Think seriously now, don’t we have a tendency to feel their sin is against us even when it has nothing to do with “us” at all? That is the why we want to tell others about this “evil” that “they” have done!”

This person wasn’t delivered from the evil one therefore they are more sinful them I am! Personally I have been shunned, and talked about from many naming the name of Christ and always will because of something I did over 24 years ago to someone that most of those never knew, much less being one the sin was against!

Now, I am not saying it for sympathy, so DON’T give it!! I am saying it from experience, to show I know what I am saying! Who is it you are holding something against? Could it be as Jesus said?

But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
