God Keeps His Word

God promised to supply all our needs. So “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God” (Philippians 4:6, KJV).

What you want may not be good for you, so allow God to supply your needs. You may need a vehicle and your heart’s desire is to have a Mercedes Benz or a Ferrari. God will supply your need for a vehicle but you may or may not receive what you want. So if you get a Mercedes Benz, give thanks. If you get a Nissan Micra, a Ford Escort or any other vehicle, you deem of less status, still give thanks. He may not have supplied your want but He has delivered because He provided your need for transportation.

Seek First His Righteousness

Introduction

This study goes in depth with abundant scripture to prove that once a person places their faith and trust in Jesus, they are declared righteous, right with God by faith. It has nothing to do with our personal actions and everything to do with Jesus obedience. This study will set you on the firm foundation of Jesus righteousness. The Bible is clear that once your mind and heart is established in His Righteousness, the other things you need and have been seeking will be added unto you. Get your Bible out and study with me. If you have any questions, comments or objections, I really hope you will post them below the study or contact me through private messenger.

I am the Righteousness of God in Christ

I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST
2 Corinthians 5:21

That is quite a difficult concept to grasp. Everything within us resists it as if it were not true. The American Standard Version of the Bible has this Scripture written in this way: 2 Corinthians 5:21(ASV) Him (Jesus) who knew no sin He (God) made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him. The King James Version has it written like this: (KJV) For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him (Jesus). The phrase “might be made” comes from the Greek word ginomai which means to cause

Fear of the Lord

Fear of The Lord?

Exodus 20:20 , NIV: ” Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.” “

Do not be afraid so that the fear of God will be with you? Did I just read that right? It almost sounds like God is contradicting himself or at least that is what the skeptic might say. Or could it be that God is speaking of two kinds fear? Isn’t all fear bad though? Not according to God. Scripture lists a multitude of benefits for those who fear the Lord. Here are just a few from the.

To Dunk or Not to Dunk, Biblical Baptism

To dunk or not to dunk, that is the question. When a person thinks about what it says in Matthew 3 regarding baptism being accompanied by repentance and fruit bearing, does it really make any difference? It is more of a heart attitude. Many Christians believe that immersion is the biblical way because of the Greek word “baptizo” and that it is a picture or symbol of new life in Christ-down with the old and up with the new. I personally believe that immersion is the correct way, however let me relate a true story from a former pastor of mine.

A man bed-ridden in a hospital desired to be baptized. The pastor went to visit him and sprinkled water over him in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The man rejoiced and gave praise to God. He was truly blessed and had a righteous heart.

Jesus Never Called a Believer a Hypocrite

Introduction

This Bible study as most I have written is designed to rid the believer of any doubt regarding God’s love for them and their complete and total forgiveness in Christ. It is only satan who wants you to doubt your total forgiveness and righteousness in Christ which leads you to doubt God’s love. Satan knows that doubting these truths is specifically what keeps a believer trapped in reoccurring sin and ineffective for God. These studies are designed to renew the mind.

The purpose of this article is to reveal the truth that God never called a believer a hypocrite no matter how badly they failed. The title of hypocrite was exclusively reserved for the self-righteous unbeliever.
