Abandon God!

Have you, in the process of reading the Old Testament, ever wondered how could the Hebrew Children turn on God after seeing His grace to them? I mean after all they saw the water open and allow them to cross then come back together and destroy their enemy, right?

Then after grumbling got manna and again grumbling got quail, and again grumbling got water. Maybe they thought grumbling was the way to get God to give them their needs? Or they felt like Moses should have known of their needs and had this God provide for them even before they asked and that is why the grumbling?

Do Not Judge?

Recently I had been talking with a lady about a TV personality, Ellen Degeneres later she said to me, “God said we should not judge people.”

Of course she was referring to:

Matt. 7:1, (Jesus speaking), “Do not judge or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

This is one of those verses that people love to quote but have no idea what it is talking about. It has nothing to do with pointing out a person that is lost. Now granted it is MORE proper to tell the individual personally then to talk about them to another.

What Happens in The End?

Have you ever noticed when people talk of “The End” it is usually referred to the battle of Armageddon? Its like no one reads the rest of God’s Word to see the real End.

Well yes of course they do refer to a new heaven, and even a new earth. But seem to miss ALL in between. There is the thousand years that Jesus will rule and reign on this earth.

Everyone will not be killed in the battle of Armageddon. But after that reign there will be another battle, if it could be called a battle, called Gog and Magog, but lets give God’s Word a “close look” as we always do.
